I tried one very popular Spanish language software method that uses pictures to teach language. It is helpful if you want to learn colors, fruit or objects but real words for communication do not have pictures. Words like who, what, where, when and why are all very good one-word questions. I want Spanish language software that can help me learn the basics like to, go, from, if. Then the phrases will make sense because I will know the individual words.

Spanish language software sometimes has games that help you remember. I find that they work. Games make repetition fun. Repetition will help lock the words into your memory.

Grammar is also an important part of language. The use of and sentence examples should be included to increase understanding.

Good Spanish language software should have a clear native speaker to speak the words. The sound of the word and the spelling of it is a great start to remembering. Spelling opens the door. Repetition is the key to remembering.

To evaluate language learning software look at what the company’s marketing hype says. If they say you can learn a language in 10 days well, be careful. Use Goggle search for the companies to find reviews from users that purchased the software already.
